About Myself
I am operating my business as a database and office support.
I have a background as a French medical secretary and medical transcriptionist.
I also have a long-standing interest and involvement in computer technology,
having a Windows NT Server Administrator certificate with DeVry Institute
in Calgary, complete with a "Computer Networking Certificate" from
SAIT. I have also acquired, through on-the-job experience, a solid
knowledge of Windows 95/98/ME, DOS and Windows based applications
such as Office 97/2000.
Presently, I am specializing on database creation (Microsoft Access).
My goal is to assist small companies, consultants, and self-employed
to create and manage all information they require to be successful
in their activities. I can also assist them to acquire basic computer
skills, as well as in Word, Excel and Access.
If you are:
- self-employed
- owner of a small business
If you are looking
- for someone reliable, serious, and hard-working to
work with,
- for some help to create a database with Access, to
set up a simple website, etc.
- for some administrative assistance with data entry,
typing, etc.
For the short story
II have worked mostly under contract (through agencies or self-employment)
and I have acquired a versatile work experience. I adapt easily to
new positions and places. I show initiative and work well under minimal
supervision. I also work well in a team and I am service-oriented.
I have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. I am dependable,
discreet and I keep information confidential.
